Contest Info & How to Enter

To kick start our initiative, we are holding two contests:

One contest to choose the name of the virtual art gallery and a second to then submit artwork which will represent the chosen name of the virtual art gallery and be the ‘face’ of the initiative.

Gallery Naming Contest

About the Contest
We are looking for submissions to name our virtual gallery project. Please provide a respectful and meaningful name that would describe Pathway to miyo-pimâtisiwin’s efforts in creating a virtual space to showcase the talent and creativity so many individuals within the prison system possess.
Deadline
Deadline is August 20th, 2021.
Winner to be announced the first week in October 2021.
Prize
$50 gift card of your choice which can be held until release or sent to family.

Representative Artwork Contest

About the Contest
Artwork for the virtual gallery will be accepted on a constant basis, however, submissions for this specific contest will need to be picked up before August 20, 2021.
Deadline
Deadline is August 20th, 2021.
1st, 2ndand 3rdprize winners will be announced the first week in October, 2021.
Prize
$250 for winner, $175 for second place, and $100 for third.
Prizes can either be held until release or sent to family
